Things...

Around here has been absolutely nuts. So, I started school, and there is a butt-load of studying and reading involved in all that. SO I am trying to dedicate time for that on top of being mommy, which I have done a good job of it. Until, last Wednesday, Granny decided to take a tumble at the mailbox. She decided she would jump on out of her car like a spring chicken and get her Albany Herald. See when she did this, she fell. When she fell, she nicked her temporal artery. So she made a huge mess on the sidewalk. We spent all night Wednesday night in the Emergency Room, and she is still hanging out in the hospital. She is doing okay. She is having problems seeing out of the eye on the side she had the laceration on, she is very weak, and in a bit of pain. It scares me, heak she took a tumble for an 85 year old woman. Thank God she did not break anything. The latest, they are going to evaluate her for physical therapy, and it is looking like she will be doing in-hospital rehab for a few more days. I was just talking to Dad, and we both agree she is getting depressed. So if ya would just lift her up if ya think about it. She hasn't really been up and around since she fell. The whole overall situation scares me, not necessarily from a medical standpoint, but just the simple fact that things are not right at home. Granny is missing, and I HATE it! Well enough about that.

Kate, have you popped little Micha out yet?

Some Stuff!

It is Sunday evening, and I am very excited and nervous. On Wednesday of this week, I start school, like for real school. No more online classes, I actually have to show up to a classroom. I have been working towards this day for over a year now, and I am getting nervous now. So if ya think about me on Wednesday, shoot up a quick lil prayer. So the other good thing about this week, is I am finishing up my English class. HALLELUJAH!! I am very excited about that.

Pretty much everyone is kickin' along pretty well around here. Today at lunch, I was informed that Harrison was sitting at the table and looked at Ben, Mrs. Len Hagan's brother that farms, and said, "Ben, your irrigations is broke in front of Aunt Len's house because it is dripping on the ground". How bout that. Harrison is Mr. Irrigation now. He is so funny and so sweet. That is pretty much all that is going on around our house. I hope all is doing well.

For Mrs. Claire!

I wanted you to read this about Harrison. So I decided to do a little copying and pasting for ya! I made it where you can now comment on my page now! Great to see ya!

You all know when you got in trouble when you were younger when your parents sure enough meant business, they would not only call you by your first name, but your first and middle name. You know it always got your attention. I always hated to hear it come rolling out of one of my parents mouth. That usually meant that it was not fixing to be pretty. Anyway I have a funny to tell on Harrison....Last night Harrison was building a 'train' with his big blocks. His train with his big lego blocks consist of lining them up behind each other and calling it a train. Anyway, the first time he had about three or four blocks lined up, and Kitty which is about a 12 week old kitten or so saw an opportunity to mess with his train he was building and took the opportunity. Kitty knocked over his blocks with one pounce, and it made Harrison MAD! Well he lined the blocks up again and Kitty pounced once again knocking the train off the track. Harrison stood up and put his hands on his hip and said "Kitty Robert don't knock my train over or you go to time out". How do you keep your composure? That is my child. I guess he has personally experienced the "Harrison Robert....." scolding enough, he thought it would work with Kitty. Unfortunately, it didn't!

Another Harrison Funny!

The other evening, we were just hanging around the house playing with trains and watching freaking Thomas the Stupid Train. Anyway, Harrison heard Granny in the kitchen and he walked in there and told her he wanted a vitamin. That is Granny's job around here, to make sure Harrison takes his vitamins. So anyway, she had no idea what he said, either because he was talking too low and she just can't hear, or she was trying to talk to him while he was talking either way. Harrison told her four or five times he wanted a vitamin and granny kept say "What Harrison, what do you want"? So finally my child made it very clear what he wanted. He said, "I WANT A VI-TA-MIN!" Just as loud and just as clear making sure to enunciate every syllable of every word. It was great, it cracked me up!

My lil cutie

A couple of pictures from our recent trip to the beach!

There is no wonder why my child thinks that the world revolves around him. His Papa lets him stand at the bathroom sink and brush his teeth. Brushing his teeth usually involves a towel to clean up all the water all over the bathroom floor, sink, and mirror. Most of the time it drives me bonkers, but Harrison's Papa makes it all okay. It doesn't bother him at all. We just did some remodeling at the house, and Harrison now has his own room, and he is so happy. He has had his own room for about a month now, and everyday he comes home he says, "Come see my new room Mama, Harrison loves it". This is after spending a most exciting day with Uncle Blake and Heather when they returned home from China. He just konked on out trying to watch Thomas and Friends. Didn't even eat a single chip.
